It’s true, it’s easy to be nice to those who smile at us and harder to be nice to the “bulls”, but so often it only takes a smile at the bull to soften him up. It’s just hard to remember that when we are being snorted at. I remember one time when my three boys were being really awful in the store and I was so tired of trying to control them. This really nicely dressed lady walked up to me with the sweetest smile on her face and said to me, ” I hope when you get home you give those children the beating they deserve”, and then she turned and walked away. Her smile did nothing for me.

People make me angry. I just like to tell customers how their baby is probably going to try to kill them.

Earplugs while grocery shopping create harmony.

I think we all forget sometimes to treat others with a little respect and understanding. It’s a good reminder.
