I’m FINALLY recovering from Thanksgiving. Thanksgiving planning in our house is much more than Thanksgiving, since the Little Dear’s birthday falls just a few days after Turkey Day. While everyone is out scrambling to get turkeys and stuffing, I’m right there with them. But I’m also scrambling to plan a birthday party and get the rest of Lydia’s presents. To add to my busy schedule this year, my deadline for a newspaper job also fell around the same time.
So I spent the past two weeks scrambling to the grocery store for Thanksgiving meal items, to toy, party and clothing stores for birthday presents and to local events for stories to write.
And now I am back. It feels so good to breathe and I can’t wait to actually go and read and comment at all my favorite blogs. I hope I’ll be stopping by yours! I’m eager to see what you all have been up to while I’ve been running around like a chicken with my head cut off!

Glad to have you back!! =) Thanks for stopping by my blog. I loved your ornament comment.
It is hard to have birthdays during the holidays. The holidays are busy enough. Maybe you will find an easier way to do little Lydia’s special day. We can’t forget her. She is unforgettable.
