My children decorated their own trees they made in their rooms with their special baby ornaments this year. If I were to buy an ornament to represent 2008, though, it would have to be the pen my husband bought me for Christmas, tied to a string. But I would hang it around my neck and not on the tree to remind me that writing happens in real life, not just on the keyboard.
